Swan House is located on historic Sandusky Street in downtown Findlay, Ohio. This prestigious Victorian Italianate was built in 1865 by William W. McConnell. In 1880, it was purchased by Peter Hosler, founder of Farmer's National Bank, and was home to the Hosler family for almost a half of a century. For the next 80 years, the house hosted Mrs. Foresman's Tea Room, then medical offices, and finally was converted to multiple-occupancy apartments. Through the latter years it fell into disrepair.

In May 1998, the property was purchased by The Swan House Ladies who oversaw the diligent restoration of the entire house, including the open staircase, the glass fan window above the front door, the original shutters, and the hardwood floors. Swan House is beautifully decorated and authentically furnished throughout with charming antiques. Visit us to see one of Ohio's treasures!
